MARC JACOBS EYE-CONIC MULTI-FINISH EYE PALETTE

One of my favorite products to try out are new eye-shadow products and that is why I 'm grateful to have the opportunity to review Marc Jacobs new Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eye Palettes! Influenster recently sent me a Voxbox filled with their new eye-shadow palette in "Edgetorial" along with a sample of their Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Primer. I had time to play with these products and create some looks!

I applied Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Eye Primer using my fingers to smooth all over my eye lids for a clean even base. Using an eye lid primer increases the longevity of your eye-shadows and prevents them from creasing, so I make sure to always use an eye-shadow primer before I start to create any eye look. This was my first time using their Coconut Eye Primer and I really like it. It's a light weight invisible primer with a creamy texture and it helped my shadows stay looking vibrant throughout the day.

All the shadows swatched beautifully and effortlessly! For the look I created I used the shade TAKE A MEMO to set the eye-shadow primer and to clean up the brow bone. It's a buttery smooth nude shade but it is a little lighter than what I normally like to set my eye shadow primer with. Then I applied WE'LL SEE into the crease for my transition shade. Again this eye-shadow is smooth and easy to work with but it's on the cooler side and I like my transition shades to be warmer. For the all over color I used MAKING A SCENE and to deepen it up I used ENVIOUSLY which is currently my favorite eye-shadow right now. Lastly I smoked out my water line with WE'LL SEE and ENVIOUSLY to create a really dramatic eye. I didn't get to use PLEATHER PYTHON but it's the shadow that stands out the most in this palette and is filled with pigment and shimmer. The next time I play around with colors, I will make sure to use it!

Overall I think this palette is edgy and the shadows are high quality. Unfortunately I don't this will be my next go-to palette because it doesn't have my favorite transition shade and it's more on the editorial side. But this is a fun palette to play with and I still need to use that beautiful yellow gold shimmer! I wish I could play with all 6 palettes! I have my eyes on "Scandalust", what do you think?

Thank you Influenster for sending these products complimentary for testing purposes! #TheDressedEye #contest @Influnster @MarcBeauty
